Hello!
I am a non-Indigenous ally. I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about supporting people who are navigating trauma, grief, and loss as well as areas such as anxiety and depression. I work from a trauma-informed client-centered attachment lens aiming to create a safe place that is free from judgement for clients allowing them to be authentic and present. I believe that a safe and trusting relationship is necessary for people to be able to explore and grow. With your knowledge and wisdom of your life and experience, we will work together in a direction that feels best for you and for what you like to accomplish during our time together.
I have an eclectic and holistic approach to therapy, which allows me to integrate what will best serve the people I work with.
My approaches include emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT), narrative therapy, mindfulness and grounding techniques, Polyvagal Theory, and solution-focused therapy.
